My phone flagged this number as spam so I had the Google Assistant answer and get a transcript of what the caller said. It said, "James Brolin would like to speak with Andrea (my name)." Very odd and assuming it's spam.
I did not answer the call, but I've been called by them at least 10 times.
I have learned how to avoid answering my phone when these scam calls come through by identifying whether or not they are from any area that I would normally get a call. Then I look that number up to find out who it may come from, what state or any informaion there may be on it. Then I block that number. With the advent of newer technology these rascals have access to more and more numbers so it is becoming more difficult. One other thing they do is call on recently deceased local phone numbers. They are smart and really crafty. The last time I answered one of the 10 or so calls I get a week was 3 or so months ago when I was expecting a long distant call and answered too soon, what was amazing about that call was I recognized the either Pakistani, or Indian man on the other end of the call from 10 years ago and the FIRST scam I ever got! He is the one that said to me I am a Friend of Bill Gates! He is still in there and I know making money off unsuspecting seniors and others more gullible. I hope they figure out these people because I am tired of my life being filled with this garbage by cheaters.
