Called back and got no answer, also texted and got a reply saying you are unable to text this number. So it’s definitely a landline

Today 3176394921 called my job I didn't answer so I called the phone number back. It is weird because I work for an IT company ; my telephone number is assigned to me personally its like a web phone connected to an instant message system by my employer. How did whomever get my number? The customer service guy claimed to be some security company. He said he didn't know who called me and would need some account information in order to tell me who called.
