Got a call from an unknown number in Kansas claiming to be Amazon asking me to authorize the purchase of an Apple product on my Amazon account and to contact them for follow-up. I never initiated any such purchase and would never call them when I can contact Amazon directly. When I did, there was no sign of any such transaction. So this was definitely an attempted scam.
Very pushy with Middle Eastern accent...poor English and basic phone skills. ended with very vulgar remarks....need to send ICE over there !!
