BEWARE!!! This appears to be a scam number. My mother received a call first from 855-550-0144 saying that it was Microsoft and that her Microsoft Key had expired. The agent named MIke said he would help her to reinstall her Microsoft key. He advised her it was a free service that Microsoft was conducting. After walking her through several steps on her computer, he advised she needed to call 315-688-8192 for the second & final step. When she called the 315 number a man named Chris Morgan claiming to be from Microsoft answered. He advised her that the final step would cost her $200.00. to complete. When my mom questioned him and said she would report it as a scam he hung up on her. She is locked out of her computer completely and when she rebooted it it says to call the same 315 number. I called for her and the man asked for her name and then told me it would cost her $300.00 now, since she did not pay at the first opportunity. I then advised I would report him and he hung up on me as well. ( Also I called the original 1-855-550-0144 number and spoke to the agent Mike, and then transferred to a John Watson. I did not tell them I was calling on behalf of my mom. They thought I was a new caller and both urged me me to go to my computer so they could help reset my expired microsoft key. Of course I did not do that, and after explaining about my mom situation they referred me to the 315 number. They advised they were in Brooklyn NY, even though both had very strong Indian accents. The second agent claimed to be from Thailand and said he missed the prositutes there! BEWARE!!!This is not Microsoft!!!!
