A person named Michael with an Indian accent told me I was owed a $349 refund for computer service that I purchased some time ago. The refund was due to the company going out of business. He also promised an additional $50 for my trouble. I knew immediately it was a scam because I did not purchase this service, and a company going out of business is not going to be able to refund any money. He tried to talk me through loading two different remote desktop software programs - Teamviewer and AnyDesk. I knew then he wanted to take control of my computer. I can't believe anyone falls for this.
