Received a call claiming to be from DTE. Caller ID says (313) 437-8730 is "R DTE". Caller knew my name. Claimed DTE has a voluntary program to "reduce carbon footprint" that would add $4 per month to my bill. I asked them what happened to DTE's profits and why they need money from me. Did not receive a reasonable response. Seems like a scam but it's difficult to see how it is supposed to work.
