Same here. 1/23/22. Zachery Carter. Same story given. Email was originally from Reufdr Rufdty from the Craigs List reply. Person stated doesn't reply from CL email. Said to reply to shanikah.daniels.73@gmail.com. Now after I replied a Zachery Carter emailed me. email zacherybhg@gmail.com. SCAM!!!! I'll flag on Craig's List and put a post to look out for that name and emails.

Same thing happened to me. Email came from an Elizabeth Scott. Check was issued from Summit Credit Union. Called the Credit Union, not a real check...

Got an email from Zachery Carter, zacherybhg@gmail.com with the exact same message - busy, daughter wedding, pay more than asking price, give me your name, address, phone. He'd arrange shipping. Smelled of a scam. Quick search brought me here. Seller beware.

The same story as the others here; daughter's wedding out of town, extra busy with work, a check with an excessive amount to deposit ($3300 for a $225 bike), need to deposit check ASAP, the rest goes to the "movers", origin of FedEx pkg is Tampa, FL, business is supposedly in Dallas TX, bank check from Huntington, CA., signature on check is illegible. Once I received the check, things didn't add up.

i just received this email as well from zacherybhg@gmail.com, about the wedding and sending me a check for an ipad I'm selling on craiglist.
