Young Man talking about coming over and picking up a package from Columbia. Not cool prank call
Caller ID says Not Assigned. They tried calling my landline. I'm thinking they are using an autodialer. Even though they tried calling me. I am able to see who's been calling and it showed that this number has attempted to reach my landline 30 times in a 2-minute time frame.
Got a call from this same number. A real person left a message on my recorder swearing at me for not picking up the call!
This number has been calling my home number repeatedly since November 7th. I call the number back from my cell phone and a recording says, "Thank you for calling Time Warner Cable. Our offices are closed right now. Please call again during our business hours of 9am- 6pm Central Standard Time." Well, when I call back during their so called "business hours" the call never goes through. There's no ringing and no message saying that the number is no longer in service or anything. It's just dead air! I believe this number is being spoofed because if it really was Time Warner Cable why is it saying to call back during their hours in Central Standard Time when the number is from West Virginia which is EASTERN Standard Time? Another thing I find odd is that a couple of the phone calls made to my home number were made between 7:30pm and 8pm CST which is well AFTER their so called "business hours" of 9am- 6pm CST. Also, we have a Panasonic cordless phone that can automatically block robo calls. Last night when this number called it was automatically blocked, but today when it called at 12:26 pm the number rang through and it was showing the SAME number on the caller ID that was automatically blocked last night. I had to manually block it today. Also, when it called today we didn't answer and when it got to the answering machine no message was left. If this had been a legitimate phone call from TWC I'm sure someone would have left a message. Otherwise, they have horrible business practices. I believe that this is NOT TWC. This is some shady crook pulling some shady scam!! Your best bet is to NOT answer the phone if it calls and report it to the FCC and FTC.
