Same. Ms. Razzi left me a message about how they discovered my book (which I self published like a decade ago) at a book event last month. And said they had an offer and I needed to call them. No way was my book at any event last month. Didn’t call her back. Figured it’s a scam.
All my publications are handle by Random House Ltd.NYC. where ,why and how this caller got my info. is something i am vigorously looking into with my attorney. Maybe this Ms. Razzi needs some time OUT at sing-sing
Yes, same for me. She's very pushy, wanting me to send a few pages of my unfinished book in. I said possibly later on down the line. She continued being pushy pushy pushy. June 2021.
I received a call from a woman at this number. She seemed very enthusiastic about my book. She said her company could help me get it sold internationally, with potentially lucrative royalty checks. She spent a lot of time with me. Then, when I told her I did not have $1,900 to pay as my share of this marketing campaign, she became abusive, telling me I don't care about my book, it will get buried, I don't want its success badly enough, etc. Then she HUNG UP ON ME! SO RUDE! April 7th, 2021
Also got a call from 302-643-2922. Didn't have the correct name, said we talked about a week ago, questioned whether I sill owned the rights to a book, said we would talk soon.
Uses your personal name and claims they have an award of 20K for a book you never authored
