Is 302-291-9032 a scam or spam call?
I never answer these calls since I never did business with them. why are they not being fined and why can they still keep calling if the Federal Trade Commission know about it???
Heavy Indian Accent claiming to be from the "Microsoft Refund Department". The idea is they want to refund you the $299.99 you spent so long ago you probably don't remember but they need your credit card number, expiration date and security code off of the back. They also request you be in front of your computer so that they can help you insure you haven't been infected again. They then try opening up the ports on your firewall and disable windows defender.
I have recently discovered that if you call the number that called you and waste their time over and over you will be exposed to some very colorful language certainly NOT endorsed by Microsoft. A small sense of satisfaction for me that I managed to get them so angry that they amuse me. Now I call the number at random just to annoy them to no end. They started it. I am finishing it.
