I received an automated message on my voicemail. So of course the beginning of the message was missing. It said something about the Social Security Admin and if I didn't call them for what ever reason that they would start legal proceedings. I think it said that I was committing Social Security Fraud. I called back from a different number and the person answered "Social Security Admin". It sounded almost legit I asked her to repeat it and she said it again and then told me she was an SSA Agent. I told her that I don't get SSI and she said ok and hung up.

Never ever give out your social!! If there’s something wrong than the IRS would contact you!
This person called and stated they were from the Social Security office and that someone was using my number. They also assured me that they realize I wasnt the person but that they needed to verify who I was I. They had my name and address, and was in the process of gathering my info. I started asking them to reinterate the reason for their call and they hung up.
Basically if someone calls you saying they are from the SS office, and they have an Indian accent, hang up.
