Texts attempting to get me to purchase gift cards while posing as my company's management needing the gift cards for a client they are on a conference call with

Texts pretending to be management of the company I work for asking me to purchase gift cards for a client while they are on a conference call

Me too. called maybe 12 or more times just today. Also getting calls from Damascus - multiple times a day for quite some time until these started. Believe this person is in Damascus.

Recorded message saying that if I had a property in the area that I wanted to sell to give a call back on this number. Called the number and it is another recording saying that if I was interested in selling a property then leave a message with a call back number or send a text.
