Called my 95 year old mother in law and convinced her to buy firewall protection for her computer. When I called the number, the man that answered said that they were Comcast support. She doesn't have Comcast. Told him I was wanting to speak with Alex Scott because that's who she talked to. He said that he would have Alex call me right back. Alex called and told me he was with Google Support. I could hear other men in the background asking questions like "Do you have an Apple or a Mac computer?" "What is the routing number for your bank account?" Alex told me that he helped my MIL with her Macbook. She doesn't have a Macbook. I basically told him he was a liar and to never contact her again...only with more colorful language.
