Claims to be Amazon on voicemail and a package confirmation being sent to email. I don’t have an account with Amazon and certainly don’t buy from them.
Got a call from 1-279-235-3166 on 7-16-2026 and any numbers we don't recognize we DON'T answer. No message left. Very likely a scam of some sort be it an AI scam and/or a real person scam.
They claimed to be owed $1400.00 on a robo call. Never heard of them before. scam
279-300-2447, 279-300-2406, 279-300-2374 getting spam calls very often from the 279-300 prefix, I don't pick up but wanted to report as they never leave a voicemail
On my list of recents I got a call from 279-333-3167 so I typed the number in a browser and got this
In addition to my previous comment about being texted with my full name, I called them back and it says they are a textnow subscriber. Somehhow, my phone texted them good morning and it says they are James of Asseco Group texting about a job I applied for. I think this was legit.
