Got a call from 2768218190?
Guy called our company asking for our president. Said his name was "Bill Speelin." I informed him my boss was not at his desk and he abruptly hung up. He called back several hours later, with the same result.
Guy tried to talk to my boss and was a real a$$. He hung up when I put him on hold.
Guy is a real tool!
Steve Dixon from IDS, caller id says GPS, asked for the Owner by name, told him the Owner was not in, I am the Office Manager and he said I did not rate the conversation. I am going to Love Blocking him!
Called and asked if the president was in - I did not answer this question, just asked who he was. He said that he was "Tom". I had to ask who he was with and he stated that he was with IDS and caller ID said "GPS". I just sent him straight to voicemail. He called right back and another person in the office answered - she also sent him straight to voicemail.
Caller was very rude asked for the owner, went to take a message said something inappropriate and hung up.
Called and asked to speak with someone who has not worked here for years. Then proceeded with another name. When I told him, no one was available he said he was a customer and should be treated properly. I informed him that I knew exactly what type of call this was, said no thank you and hung up. He redialed my number 4 times back to back (I didn't answer).
Guy called my office and acted like he knew me. Tried to sell new customers and recruiting. I told him he was like 100 others who promised the same thing. The jerk hung up on me.
Same as above - "Claimed to be a Steve Dixon with an IDS, caller ID said GPS. asked to speak with owner." When I told him he wasn't in, he said yeah well I was trying to get with him while I was in town, then He asked for the owners cell number. I told him I didn't have it and we hung up from each other.

Steve Dixon calls as if he has had long conversations with you before.. Not sure what the scam is but he says he is with a company IDS and they help businesses like ours grow or sell the business.
