Received an unsolicited robocall and text message from this company where they state my name and say they are calling to discuss this test which I never ordered nor did my doctor.
Got a call asking many personal questions including my insurance. Felt I had said too much and hung up. I regret answering some of the questions.
Call from Cologaurd - pre-recorded message. Called my PCP and reported it. They said it shouldn't have happened and will check it out.
My PCP set me up with a Cologuard kit. They said it would be sent in the mail and I didn't have to do anything else until the kit arrived. I received a computer generated phone call from the number above asking me for lots of personally identifying information. They asked first for my date of birth, and I hung up. I notified my PCP immediately. They said they would have someone check into this, too. In their practice, they had never heard of this happening.
I heard a recording starting with "Cologuard" and hung up figuring it was a scam call. Maybe phone numbers are given by family medical providers who suggested to use the kit.
My doctor set me up for the Cologuard test system after my physical. Received voicemail on when the kit would arrive and asking me to call if I had questions about using the kit.
