Caller identifies themselves as working for IONOS (1&1) internet domain registration and services. I could not see a reason a legitimate company with honest marketing practices would interact with a customer using these tactics.
Pretty sure this is a scam. They claimed to be from my domain registrar (which is public info). Then told me all the magic services they can do for $5 a month. Then they proceeded to tell me I pay $5 a month already for my domain.... which is NOT true. In otherwords, they lied and tried to prove they were from a different company. Then tried to get me to pay for something not at all related to the company who I currently use. SUPER SCAM. Do NOT give these people any info.
Just heard background noise of someone talking.

This is IONOS (1&1) internet domain registration company trying to up-sell you on new packages. I have been a customer for about a decade and I get 1-2 calls every year about their newest cajiger for a nominal fee.
