I just got this number #1-(253)-289-5070 today 2 so did anyone get the Grant yet????
Recently, I received a call that had this number at first [?+1 (202) 946-7083?] and my phone said it was from Washington D.C. The person on the phone was a female with a foriegn accent. She then said that I had been selected to receive a federal grant of just over $14,000 that I would not have to pay back. She also said that I was selected because I was either unemployed or lacked a recorded credit history, both of which are true; and asked me for either my bank account or credit/debit/prepaid card information. I didn’t want to disclose the information of my real bank account so I asked if I could receive the grant by check in the mail. She then said that she would only accept my bank account or credit/debit/prepaid card information so I decided to try to open another checking account with my bank. However, the process of doing this was complex and long, and I was ulimately unable to complete it. This took a while so she kept asking if I was ready to give my information while I tried to do this. She finally said that she would call me back and disconnected the call. I also said that she could call me back in ten minutes because I thought I might be ready by then. However, I wasn’t. When she called me back, the call had this number [?+1 (253) 289-5070?], and my phone said it was from Auburn, Washington. When she found that I was still not ready to give my bank account information, she finally disconnected and did not try to call me back. A moment later, I realized that call might have been a scam so I Googled the phone numbers and scam warning websites came up that occasionally had one of phones numbers I Googled. Some of the websites even had comments from people complaining about calls they had received from the numbers I Googled.
