Got a call asking for someone that no longer lives with me.

This is another scam business. Beware of them.

Leave no message than hang-up.

I block all calls that I do not recognize and they leave no message. I've never seen this Michigan number before - I get obnoxious WY calls - block everyone of them. I have now included it my daily routine LOL

248-319-6078 This number started calling my phone number yesterday 3-4 times. It has started again this morning already 4 times. No messages or voicemails. I live in Denham Springs Louisiana

Midland Credit Management. They pretend they want to help you by saying - "We help consumers resolve past-due debt obligations. By providing education and payment plans, we help consumers start down the path of resolving their outstanding obligations." This makes it sound like a debt consolidation program that is trying to help you but the truth is, they work for the company you owe money to (or they claim you owe money to). Do NOT be scammed, they want you to verify it is you on the phone so they can reaffirm they made contact with you to update it to the credit reporting agencies and update the clock (for contact made) on your credit report.

No message is ever left, just calls every few hours all day long.

It is Midland Credit Collections trying to collect a debt (real or fake debt).

I made the mistake of answering once after repeated calls and it was a person with an accent calling about unpaid student loan. I never had a student loan. He promised he would remove from calling list. AND, it continues anyway. Blocked now.

The enraged person above complaining about the "Hindu woman" seems nice. Smart, too. Only the truly savvy can discern a person's faith via phone connections. My specialty is Presbyterians.

They call at 8 AM and then every couple hours. Leave no message.

Always call at 8 am and then a couple of times during the day, I never answer numbers I don't know or are not in the area. I have had other calls with this hindu people that said was from different cities from here but always the same hindu guy. I think is a scam phone call.

Calls like every freaking hour from different t numbers and we do not owe any credit cards I’m so sick of them

This number has called me at least twice 1/27/2020. no message left. Don't know the number. not going to answer them. Too many phone scams out there.

Called at 8 am and I had just gone to bed as I work overnights. Told me that I had some account in collections. After waking me up at this ungodly hour, the amount of obscenities that spewed forth from my face would have made a sailor blush! After I screamed that I PAY MY BILLS AND I DON"T HAVE A SINGLE ACCOUNT OF ANY KIND IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM THAT WOULD EVER POSSIBLY BE IN COLLECTIONS I promptly told this Hindu woman that if they EVER called my house again that I would make the war in Iraq look like a minor misunderstanding! She then said that they operate according to the law with phone calls. I told her again that I owe NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON ONE SINGLE DIME AND IF THEY CALL ME AGAIN I WOULD WIPE THEM RIGHT OFF THE MAP! She then promptly said they would add me to their do not call list. SCAM BEWARE! I have NO credit card accounts and only a car loan that is and has ALWAYS been current!
