Got unwanted call from 240-512-5219?
They called me and told me a lender I never heard of is looking to garnish my wages. They had my full name and social security number.
I get same call - They referenced the person to call back on 240-512-5219 is a Sarah Smith - when you call the # back they wont let you talk to this :"person". The receptionist indicates that I owe for a loan, which I've never taken, and that I'm going to be served at work or home. In the VM they say she (Kate Taylor or Sarah Smith) is a process server and that I am being served at my home or my job she gave reference number for me to use when I call back. Today they called from 334-575-3748 and the process owner then was a Kate Smith - Again when you call back its same woman on phone and very evasive - You block the numbers but they use different numbers to call - It so hard to stop these harassments - Reporting to the FTC
They call and level a case # - when you call back they want your SSN and indicate they have action again me - when I ask for that documentation &/or information they cant provide and hang up. I know its a scam and I owe nothing to anyone.
It tells me that I can voluntarily contact them with a case number or they will advise the company to proceed action against me
