NEVER Set up your voicemail with YOUR OWN VOICE. With Ai today, scammers, RECORD your voice and can now Copy it to the T. They can call loved ones and make it sound like its YOU, then demand money. If you do set up your VM, only leave silence. Do not use your name, or anything. People you know, you may tell and they will know. However, people that don't know you, will think they were hung up on. Personally, I think having No Voicemail is better.
They claimed to be making appointments in my area to set up a cheaper credit card merchant account. Would not take No for an answer. Hung up on them.
Text at first saying, “excuse me who are you?” After responding back with, “who is this??” Text, “Hello, I'm Emily from San Francisco, California. What about you?”
Our organization specializes in market research and political surveys to collect public feedback. We do not sell products or services. All responses are anonymous and kept strictly confidential. This is not a spam communication. - AC
Constantly call over days, sometimes multiple times per day and never leave a message.
I did not give them a chance - hung up and blocked the call
Texted that they had a buyer who wanted to buy my house - market value, they pay all costs.
