This is a legitimate government office in Michigan however, the phone number was spoofed and is being used to get people to share personal information. If you live in west Michigan, likely it is legit. It is the Department. Of Health and Human services office number in Hart, Mi. If you have affiliations with this office you would know right away when taking the call. If you are outside Michigan, it likely is a scam caller. Unfortunately aside from changing the phone number( which us not an option), the FTC states there isn’t much more they can do.
