It started off as an automated message: "this is a call from Legal... we received a notification..." then it switched over to some guy with an Indian accent claiming he was from SSA. He asked if I'd received a letter or e-mail from them. I said no. He asked for my full name, and I asked "shouldn't you know my name if you're the one who called me?" and he got flustered and said that it was the department who called me so he wouldn't know who he's talking to. I told him I'd rather wait for an official notice and he got annoyed and hung up.
