Says it's Qlink

June 19, 2020

I use qlink but when I get a voicemail it says my food stamps and Medicaid are about to expire I call them back and it’s qlink so I think my qlink is about to expire so I goto renew it it’s not about to expire either so idk why qlink is calling and leaving voicemails saying my other benefits are about to expire

Called with automated message about my gov assistance programs I have are expiring which I know is NOT true. They call constantly!

said my snap and Medicaid are due to cancel. I know this is not true. Second time I have received a call from this number. Wanted me to press 1 to secure Q-link. I did and then it kept cycling and asking the same thing. Scam for sure as my sisters phone rang with the same number at the same time. I used her number when receiving my first Q-link and now our phones are tied together. This makes no sense. Please investigate.

It's weird. I'm on QLink Wireless Lifeline due to being on foodstamps & Medicaid. Well, the robo voice that called specifically said that those very benefits were being cancelled. Press 1 if you want to keep them, press 2 to speak to a representative. I pressed 2, it was quiet, then it hung up. I then called the number back... And it was QLink's call menu! So I'm confused and worried. Is a scammer using QLink's number as a mask? (A new dirty tactic nowadays where scammers use real phone numbers to disguise themselves) Or did QLink get hacked? The robo voice sounded the same for both interactions. I didn't go further into the QLink one in case it's fake. But how did the caller know I had those specific services including the Lifeline? I don't know what to do... Won't block it in case it IS QLink... I'm gonna message them soon and see if they know what this is about.

Called using my cell phone number then calling my other cell number using the phone number 216-539-9455 at the same time... I denied the call an it was a robocall saying they were calling from social security and to call them back...

It might be a scam bc when I logged in to the official website it says i'm in good standing and no actions required. Do not call this number back, use the official number.
