Got unwanted call from 215-841-4000?
Claimed to be from Spark(?) Energy to inform me they are coming to disconnect my electric because of my bill. I don't have energy through that company and even if I did I pay PPL so it's their responsibility to distribute the funds. Then he said it was not because I didn't pay the bill it's because I signed a contract. I asked what the contract said. I asked him to read it to me. I said I was going to call the police and he replied that they would be showing up with the police. Now I'm scared to leave my house in case they come by and try to rob me. I'm scared to stay home in case they come by and try to rob me. Why can't somebody stop this nonsense, these scammers?
Peco scam
I got a call from 215-841-4000 stating another company sent them a notice to change my electricity from PECO to their company and I had to authorize the change. I hung up and he called back twice threatening to turn off electricity. I did not pick up.
