said I won a lottery-900,000 dollars
Said his name was John Reed from the FTC. Left a phone number and extension which I did not call back and deleted from my answering machine.
Same John Reed claiming to be from the Federal Trade Commission, same number and extension. Didn't call.
Received a voice mail from John Reed claiming to be from the Federal Trade Commission about a distribution I have coming to me that I was suppose to have taken last year. 212-845-9778, ext. 9053.
My mother has received several calls from this number claiming she won roughly $750,000 from a Proctor and gamble lottery but had to pay $3000 to receive the winnings. The guy that called said she had to keep everything a secret until she paid up (for her protection of course). They were pretty slick and had a lot of detailed answers to my questions when I spoke to him.
We had two calls from this number on our telephone recorder from a "gentleman" named John Kane. He said we had won $750,000 in a P & G raffle. He claimed he was from the Federal Trade Commission, and that they routinely get involved when a prize this large is brought to their attention. He gave us a phone number to call to verify - P&G Claims Department (???) - (513) 898-9300. We did not call that number.
On August 7 I receiced a call from a Pablo Sanchez, telephone number 212-845-9778, X 9051, supposedly working with the FTC, saying that Procter&Gamble had awarded me $750,000. Gave me a telephone number that was a legitimate P&G number and a claim code. Called FTC and P&G. Both confirmed that this was fraud and took down the information.
Received calls from two different people who left voicemails saying they were with FTC regarding a payout from Proctor & Gamble. Their names are Sebastian Porter and Frank Diaz.
Received voice mail from man claiming to be with FTC regarding a pending payout. I couldn't understand what he said his name was.
My elderly parents have been returning calls to this number and sent a total of $31,000.00 to these scammers claiming they have won the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes. The FBI now involved.

A female officer left a message saying that she was from the FTC and that I needed to call regarding some prize money that was won. Didn't answer it, but because this was a live caller, it got by my robo-killer. Please let your elderly friends and relatives know that calls like this are scams!
