2 calls saying social security fraud in texas
Says it's the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).It Won't leave a message.
Robocall. Said my SSN is going to be cancelled for fraud in Texas and other states. I just hung up.
Robo call says my SSN will be suspended for fraud in Texas and other states. They have already called me twice today.
Robocaller saying my SSN is being canceled. The assumption is that I'm elderly and receiving SSN benefits. Neither apply to me, but I have listed my birth year on Facebook as born in the year 1901, so you tell me why scammers think I'm elderly, if that's the only business that thinks I'm elderly. Security breach at FB? Or is FB selling confidential information they claim they are not selling? I logged into FB for the first time in a long while and deleted my (non-public) phone number.
I find it pretty hard to believe that as a Fiduciary I would have my SSN used in any form of scam if the scammers have any kind of brain. I'm watched by more three letter agencies than most people as a financial professional. Don't let scammers and shammers fool you on this stuff, You get letters in the mail, and if it's really serious they show up to your residence of record to report things like this, and mail fraud is easier to track than this stuff is now.
Same number called twice. Robocaller said my SSN is going to be cancelled for fraud in Texas and other states. I hung up and blocked the number.

I was called by this # and 2 others from 212 & 614 area code today.. All computerized recordings that all Said the same thing. Blocked them all.
I also received a call stating that my SS number had been compromised. I did dial one, but did not give out any information. They asked me for my name & last 4 digits of my SS number. When I asked who I was speaking with, the person said "Robert White". I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving out any confidential information. I asked if I could check them out & then call them back. He said he was only asking for my name and last 4 digits. I hung up at that point.
