Who called me from this phone number (210) 200-7604

Was selling something on FB Marketplace and this person asked to text me rather that continue on Messenger. I agreed then they wanted to send me a code to prove that I was a real person. Quickly read online that this is a scam way of people stealing your numbers but Google makes them verify the number or something like that. Bottom line, I shouldn't have given them my number. They were very pushy in texting trying to send me this code and finally said no and blocked them!
