I tried contact QWEST the issuer of the number, who apparently is owned by CenturyLink. After fighting their voicemail hell, I got someone in the Tech Department (that being the best of a bunch of poor options) and he was supposedly getting me a number for their abuse line but then disappeared on me.... So now I'm thinking that maybe they DID know who they sold the # to, and KNEW it was a scammer....
Maybe I should call QWEST and suggest that they not sell phone numbers to scammers -- this number has complaints about it on at least six other websites (and those are only the ones I've checked so far....
