Called # back, says "thank you for calling SSI, if we recently called you we wanted you to participate in a survey. To opt out please email optout@surveysampling.com and include your phone # in the body of the email.
I think this is a scam to get demographic information. The caller spoke barely intelligible English and started off as a phone survey about political beliefs. Then proceeded to ask absurd questions that showed the intent in my mind. I usually help survey takers from time to time, but this is a scam. I will pay for this. I just don't know exactly how yet. But beware, this is a bogus call.

Received call at 9:15 PM, the lady talk fast at the beginning (Trying to skip over the name of where she was calling from) though was polite and did apologize for calling late. She wanted me to complete a survey about the current issues in Washington state. I declined and told her I didn’t care to share my opinion and said thank you for calling and hung up.
