I am in CA and I have received several call starting at 7 am stating the IRS sued me for back taxes and a warrant for my arrest has been issued.
I get tons of calls from this number. They leave a garbled voicemail with the number to call them back and no other information. Very annoying!! Total SCAM!!
Just left a message saying a warrant for my arrest will be issued.
My complaint is basically the government knows about these ridiculous scammers why cant they take care of it? If i did this for 1 day secret service would be at my house. I understand they probably are not in this country but I guarantee you they could have the phone lines cut.
Got calls and msgs. from this number 2 days straight. Like the first comment, Saying that they work with the IRS and if I don't take action all my bank accts. Will be on hold and it will be a warrant to arrest until I pay 5,622.00. Ooohhh and apperently i owe this amount from 2011 to 2016... yeah right!! I have never received a letter nor a call from the IRS mentioning that I owed such amount. I have called the CPA that helps me with my taxes and he said that is not true.. Don't believe this people!!! YESSS THEY ARE SCAMERS.. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR INFO.
Received 2 calls within 2 hours from this number. A male left a message that the "IRS has a filed a lawsuit against you, and an arrest warrant will be issued if you do not comply" SCAM, this is ridiculous, it is a live person, not a robot call
