left voice message yesterday - IRS saying there is a warrant out on me and I need to call them back ASAP - This is FRAUD
Just received a call from this number. Robotic message that a warrant for my arrest had been issued by IRS. I block the number
Just got a call from these people, and I called them back. They said: "yes, we're the IRS". I simply hung up and blocked the number. However, I may just get a little drunk tonite and call them back to jack with them a bit.
Called and left me a voicemail, didn't say my name, robortic voice, stated they were the IRS, they'd been trying to contact me about fraud for 6 months, and now are suing me, telling me to call them back. Intimating, but scammers. This is not how the IRS contacts people.
These people are scammers trying to prey on innocent people by pretending to be the IRS and saying I committed fraud and they're going to sue me. Ridiculous. There is a special place in hell for these scammers.
