Got a message from John Franklin with Mediation Services stating that I had a claim i n their office and if I did not respond that they would take legal action against me.. This is the 3rd time that I have gotten this same call.
Received a call today that was flagged as scam. Left a message, It was a man saying he was from mediation services with a case pending against me, and I or my attorney need to return his call or face the consequences of my decision. Never mentioned my name or what kind of case. So no I'm not returning the call.
This is a PayDay Loan repayment scam - they are claiming that you took a payday loan approximately ten years ago and are suing you for defaulting on the loan. They will read back your address, email, and the name of the closest bank branch to your address hoping that you have an account there. They will tell you that you can settle with a payment today. They got your information off of an application you may have filed a decade ago for a quick loan that you never followed through on.
I just got a call from this number. (I’m in Florida.) The recording also said something about “Median Service”. That there’s a “case” pending. I was instructed to call him back or he will submit my case. If this isn’t an attempt of fraud I don’t know what is. I’m tempted to call him back using the *67 method. But I’m not for sure if *67 is 100% reliable. I wish I knew of a way to report this? It’s funny how this “Mediation Service” is calling people all across the Country.
Just got a call from the above and I am Florida. Scam for sure. Guess he will just have to file my case. Lol
LEFT A RECORDED MESSAGE THAT THIS WAS A MEDIATION SERVICE TO CALL THEM BACK???
Left a voice mail for me that starts out as if a portion was cut off, but it ends with "if I don't call back then it will be recorded as I waived my right to counsel and he will submit my case".
I got this same call. But the number came up on my iPhone as a spam risk call.
Left a recorded message that this was a mediation service and to call them back or have my attorney reach out to them.
