Left me a VM. Represented self as FTC investigator calling me about a Publisher’s Clearinghouse prize I had allegedly won.
They now pretend to be giving out grants from the government, (apparently the first grant ever awarded without an application ha ha ha)
Said he was calling to tell me the Justice Department was initiating a federal investigation was being taken against me. I said, “Really? BS. What’s my name?” He was surprised I asked that and said “Scott” then realized his mistake (I’m a woman). He then tried to tell me my name is Mrs. Scott. (It isn’t.) scammers. Indian or Pakistani accent. accent.

I think they were trying to make the robot say, "...security, and we have found some suspicious activity in your name. When you get this message kindly call back on our number that is 202-990-7376." But the play back speed kept changing and the pronunciation was way off.

Got a call from 202-908-4979 saying he was Will Harris from Consumer Affairs and expected me to call him back. After reading other people's experience with receiving calls from this number, I assume it's a scam. I used *60 call reject feature on my phone.

Got a text message that says "Your items are being prepared by the store". Followed with "Your reservation is ready for pickup".
I get one of these calls every night about 8:30 pm. The one tonight was at 8:43 pm. Every call is about continuing education. I block each one but every night when I get another call it has a new number.

Something has to be done about 202-8528524. My caller I.D. says Washington DC, I have blocked this call and still it calls me. Because its blocked it rings once, but sometimes I'm sleeping, Im nofeeling well it doesnt stop.

He claims his name is Pedro Mendoza, member of the CJNG cartel and wants money. Our cell providers has link personal information to our cell numbers or they have been hacked. Pedro manage to tell me family members name, addresses of where I used to live very believing since information about family and friends seems believable. But don’t know why the cartel will target me if I have never been involved in any way shape or form with these people. My guess a scam up his game.
