We have been having this caller leave messages that they will be deducting $299 from our bank account for a subscription we owe. The only reason I want to answer their irritating call is to ask "How crazy do you think people are?!"
I get this call every day for the same reason, automatic deduction of $299. from my bank acct. to reactivate my supposedly expired license and subscription plan to Microsoft on my computer. They've been calling for months now, so it appears obvious that have no info of my accounts and that is just what they want a bank account number.
Got a threating phone call from 202-897-4580 District of Columba. Pay up or else 299 dollars to Microsoft to maintain my service. Soon we will have to pay to use periods and comas on their writing programs.
Three calls in two days. Says they will deduct $299 from my bank account for a computer subscription if I do not call them.
Three calls in last three days. Robotic female voice threatens to charge $299 to auto-renew my computer subscription unless I call 202-897-4580. SCAM
Same thing as Dave.
called about charging me $299 to restore my Microsoft data. Scam

I have had today alone, this number call me on landline 4 times (doesn’t leave a message) and twice at the SAME TIME calling me on my cell?!?! Literally, both ringing at the same time. Again, no message. At least on cell I was able to block the number.
