I picked up the phone, there was no answer and then the robot on the other side disconnected the call. It looks like scammers are tuning their systems or a third party works on behalf of a company simply trying to confirm the location, availability to talk on the phone, or how quickly a person responds to a phone call.
Notification of a car warranty near its expiration. The robocall gives me an option to speak to a representative about extending it or putting this number on the "Do Not Call" list.

I get one of these calls every night about 8:30 pm. The one tonight was at 8:43 pm. Every call is about continuing education. I block each one but every night when I get another call it has a new number.
