201-588-1081 left message claims to be from the tax crime unit and that I was to appear before the magistrate judge or exam jury for federal criminal offense. I attempted to return the call from a land line and it will not go thru. From Closter, NJ sounds like a scam and I am not calling back using my mobile phone
Same as the others. Called and left a message claiming tax fraud against my name and gave phone number to call back. (which I did not do). Got this same call a few months ago. Was a scam then, still is. The IRS does not call, they send letters.

Caller on the voicemail claimed that there was a case pending against me and that a magistrate would be sent to my home, if I did not call them back immediately.
Claims a federal tax crime, avoid an appearance by calling this number and refers a case number and case worker ID to speak to.
Called gave name and case # as well as badge number from Legal Affairs. Name was Eric Coleman Badge # 50269. Wanted address and would not give it.

Same as others listed here. Left the same message. I had received this same when I answered a call( from another number..I told them I needed more info cuz the IRS does not call...they send letters....and the reply I got was " this is why YOU is Stupid people" then they hung up....
