Man claimed we won money in sweepstakes we did not enter. Argued for 5 minutes that he could not remove our number from his list and just needed some info to send the check right in front of him. Stated repeatedly that he was legally required to keep trying until we had the check. I told him to shred it or throw it in the Atlantic, that we were not interested, and stop calling immediately. He continued to argue that he was legally required to send the check. I repeated that he was lying, that even if we had entered a sweepstakes (which we had not) that we had every right to refuse the prize. Again, he argued his legal requirement as I threatened to report him to the FCC. I finally told him that if he called again, the call would be recorded and sent to the FCC. He suddenly hung up. (With luck, never to be heard from again!)
