Calls wanting money for something he did remotely to directv box. Scam, per directv.
They call from various versions of this phone number numerous times (roughly 10 times every day for the last week) a day and ask for one of our former employees by his first name only and his title being the business owner. When I inform them that he hasn't worked here in years and was NEVER the business owner, they then ask me to put them through to the business owner. When I ask what it's regarding, they claim to be calling from BDA (which I can't find online) and say that they show that our company has an active UCC Filing against our company, which I know we do not. When I kindly ask for them to remove our phone number from their call list, each of them responds in either a rude manner, or they hang up on me. I am going to register their numbers on the Do Not Call Registry even though that never works.
Said "Hello. This is Fred" and nothing else. Most likely a scam to get you to say "Yes?" so they can record your voice and get you into a big mess. 3rd time someone has called and said "Hello, this is..." REPORT THESE SCUM!
Keep getting calls from this number 2 or 3 times a day. Will not leave a message Phone number is on do not call list.
