Ok so I like to mess with these automated services that call & say they are from the IRS & that I owe them money or I am going to jail bc there's a warrant out for my arrest. So when I called back, I used an Indian accent. Said I was blah blah blah, then they tried to convince me that I was my son & when I said, um I am not a boy, they hung up on me. I called back, they hung up, I called repeatedly yet they continued to hang up on me. So I blocked the number. Bottom line people, the IRS will not call you automated & have you call them back, they will send you a letter, set an appointment on the phone & call you. One person will be assigned to you IF you have an IRS issue. I know, I've been through it before.
