These guys are an absolute menace. Should be in jail. Number calls 20-30 times in the span of 5 minutes multiple times per day.
My call blocker says it is potential spam so I don't answer it at all since installing the call blocker. When I did answer it there was frequently no one there.

Called medical office claiming to be from Walgreens requesting recent patient office notes. Recognized as scam. Also faxed over fraudulent request. Had detailed knowledge of patient and providers.
I received a phone call from this number, the caller said they were from "locations" and to call 1-844-417-4646, gave me a case number. I called the number and spoke with different people, it was for a debt that was paid through a consolidation service. They were very persistent and threatened to take me to court unless I agreed right then and there to pay with a card. The person I spoke with said they were a lawyer's office but lawyers don't generally take bribes to keep cases out of court. I called my debt consolidation service and they are working on resolving this case for me.
As this is MY NUMBER I can say that I AM NOT calling anyone. I am not a Fucking asshole who wants to scam anyone. If you get a call from MY number... BLOCK IT.

It's difficult to tell what is what with all the spoofing of phone numbers and caller IDs. But if I were king for a day, I would make it a Federal Crime to spoof phone numbers in interstate calls. They might be difficult to enforce, but if you crucify (in legal terms) the ones that are caught, word gets out pretty quickly. And the telecom companies are complicit as far as I believe, in not helping to correct the problem.
