Got a call from a Carissa from an Energy Company. She spoke so low I couldn't understand her voicemail. She said "You need to call us back, this is important". Glad I checked this site first and blocked her number.
Received same type call, asking for the "billing" dept. I called them back asked for Ext 405 per the message my staff took & left a message on "Eric's" machine, with in 30 seconds a woman "Lauren" called back saying she missed a call from this number. I explained to her I was trying to return a call from extension 405 & she said she would help me. I asked her which business she was representing & she would not give the name of WHICH merchant services business she worked for, then was SUPER rude telling me she was trying to refund me & I haven't responded. I asked her AGAIN, which merchant account was she calling about & she said "I've told you & you're not listening" I told her I felt that she was a SCAM & unless she could give me the name of the Merchant Service account that I was speaking to I was going to hang up. She laughed at me & said - "Bitch I Told YOU!" Yup so I hung up on her.
Very poor Customer Service. I called the 800-345-6443 and never talked to anybody. I just sat there for 20 mins listening to mind numbing Music. I just hung up! Woman called looking for owner from 20 years ago. Would not tell purpose of call. She eventually hung up. Tried calling back. "Phone number is not reachable from my phone." Most likely a criminal money laundering scam. When answering potential spam calls, NEVER say the words YES or NO. It is too easy to have those words spliced as answers to things you would never agree to. Always use words like CORRECT, TRUE, FALSE, etc when answering yes/no type questions.
Got a phone call from 929 214-5421. When I suggested I wan to confirm it is Malwarebytes calling.They hung up and started to phone from 1 800 520-2796. They let it ring 20-30 times and keep on phoning every 1min -5 min. for hours

We received a postcard in the mail with these phrases in BOLD print “Home Warranty Division - County Deed Records - Urgent Warranty Notification - Final Notice” and this message: "Call 1-800-349-0755 for uninterrupted protection." It is obviously a SCAM mail/phone number since there was no company name or information, just a mysterious "Property Identification Number" that had no relevance to anything relating to our property. It also had this messaged printed on one side: "This is your warranty replacement notice advising you to contact our offices so you do not heave a lapse in coverage for all available covered components. With active services, all repairs and replacements will be covered that reflect your updated paperwork. Call….now before it’s too late and your expiration date expires leaving your home at risk of expensive repairs and/or product replacement.” With no contact provide other than the phone number and no factual or relevant details relating to our property, this is definitely a SCAM – do not call the numbers listed!
I was looking for information about a wordpress plugin and got a lockout screen with a security warning to call Apple Security Centre to in order to unlock my computer. I believe this was a scam as they were fishing for information about my phone and didn't seem to care about my locked out computer. In the end I hung up. This number is one digit off from the Microsoft Support phone number.

I received a call from this number after I hung up from a previous call with the same person. He wanted to combine all my CC debt into a consolidated loan. The trouble was I had an extremely small amount on my CC debt so I knew he wasn't from any CC company. I told him I wasn't interested. The 1st guy was an Indian dude who could barely speak English whereas the guy he transferred me to had almost no accent.

Called me pretending to be Bank of America to help me cancel my card due to some fraudulent transactions on my credit card. It was very believable up until they asked me to verify my personal information and share the security code from the back of my card. I said no. the guy then got angry and told me to go "F" myself.

For a call from +1 (800) 242-7378 stating there was unusual activity on my card and flagged it as fraud. They said there was 1536.00 transacted at a Walmart in California and another 23,479.30 withdrawn from a teller in California. They then asked if I had any other cards attached to the Chase account like, PayPal, Venmo or cash app and asked me the amounts I thought were in them. I told him $0.00 in each then he hung up.
