Blocked caller id so I didn't answer. Voicemail from 657-229-0172 appears. It's Cynthia saying this this the third and final attempt to contact me about some student loan forgiveness program.
Same exact message i got. Thanks to all these reports, I'm not calling it back.
same with the below comments this number has been calling me since august of this year with the same message
In agreement with the previous comment.
Don’t answer the phone to call this number: (657) 229-0172. This is a scam.
Robocaller that leaves a message about a "final notice" about some student loan program. States that I have until Friday to respond but I have been getting this same message for three weeks hmmm. It is a scam to get you to enroll in a scummy debt relief program (or to steal your information). If you call back there is a message stating their reps are "busy". They are not busy and they never answer their line. This is a voicemail box setup to simply collect names and numbers of potential victims.
Received a call (restricted) on my cell phone, let it go to voicemail. Rude message about calling them about student loan forgiveness etc. Called the number that was left on the message and it went to a message about how all the representatives of Student Enrollment Services were busy. Same voice that left a message on my voicemail. Very suspicious. I called back from a landline.

I answered the phone to hear a female voice ( quite faint) say I was eligible to receive student loan relief from the "Federal Assistance Program". Yeah, right. I instinctively knew the caller was a scammer. I live in Ontario and don't have a student loan to pay off, so I knew this was a scam. The number I was given to call is 657-229-0172. Any government assistance program wouldn't ever reach out by phone first. A legit entity would snail mail me first, to give me the option of contacting them. This woman lied when she said "This is our 3rd and final attempt to reach you". There was no 1st or 2nd attempt - just that call. Read the book BLINK by Malcolm Gladwell. Blink is a book about how we think without thinking. So I just did the blink thing with this caller.
